Welcome to all Sellers!

All items sold at our auction attract a 20% + GST commission on the hammer price.

A minimum commission of $30 is charged to any consignment of goods entered into our auction.

Any items that fail to receive a bid and therefore have no commercial value will attract a disposal fee of $20 per item.

We reserve the right to sell items before they go up for auction for an amount at or above the clients nominated
"Buy It Now" price for that item. This can be sold in our showrooms or via this website.

Payment
Payment of goods sold is made within 14 days of the date of sale. The Consignment is generally kept as a whole entity and a cheque issued when the last goods are sold.

Transport
We can arrange transport of your items to auction at our reduced removal rate.

Reserve Prices
The seller has the right to place a reserve on any particular item sold as long as that reserve has been approved in writing by the Wells Auctions management. If the item does not reach the reserve price at the first auction it will be auctioned off to the highest bidder at the second auction in which it is placed. If the seller would like for the items to be withdrawn from the second auction they must notify Wells and have the item/s removed from our showroom.

Due to the strong number of buyers we have at all of our auctions, prices do not vary to a large degree from auction to auction and therefore our suggestion in most cases is to let your goods sell at market price, unreserved.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

Goods sold through auction rooms attract a 10% GST charge. This applies to all GST registered companies or persons, or those that are required to be registered, and must be submitted via Business Activity Statements (BAS) to the ATO each quarter.
